Before you write

What to have ready

None of this is required. It just means the first reply is a real answer rather than a list of questions back.

Site location

Where the site is, and the nearest sensitive receptors. Housing, schools, hospitals and childcare set the separation distances that drive everything else.

The source

Wastewater treatment, composting, rendering, intensive livestock, landfill, quarrying or industrial process. Each behaves differently downwind.

Regulator context

Approval conditions, licence requirements, notices, or a complaint history. If a regulator has written to you, that letter is the most useful thing you can send.

Your deadline

Whether this is an approval application, a compliance response or a legal matter, and the date it has to be in by. Sampling programmes are weather dependent.

The form goes to a consultant, not a shared inbox. If your matter is urgent or legally sensitive, call the office instead.

Not sure which service you need?

Describe the problem in plain terms. We will tell you which assessment actually answers it, and which ones you can skip.

Common questions

Before you get in touch

Do you work outside Queensland?

Yes. We are based in Eagle Farm in Brisbane and work on projects across every Australian state and territory. Field sampling programmes are run nationally, and assessment work is done against the guideline that applies in the relevant jurisdiction, not a Queensland default.

How quickly can you start?

It depends on the work. Desktop assessment and dispersion modelling can usually begin within a week of scope agreement. Field sampling is weather dependent and needs meteorological conditions that represent the worst case, so a sampling programme is typically scheduled several weeks out. If you are working to a statutory deadline, tell us the date in your first message.

Can you help with an odour complaint we have already received?

Yes. Complaint response is one of the most common reasons clients contact us. The useful first step is usually characterising whether the complaint pattern is consistent with your emissions at all, because in a surprising number of cases the source turns out to be elsewhere.

Do you provide expert evidence?

We work with legal teams and appear in planning and court matters. If your enquiry relates to a live dispute, say so in your message so it can be handled appropriately from the outset.

What standards do you test to?

Odour concentration measurement is performed by dynamic olfactometry to AS EN 13725:2025. Assessment criteria and averaging conventions vary by jurisdiction, and the applicable guideline is confirmed as part of scoping.

Do you sell monitoring equipment as well as consulting?

Yes. PlumeMapper and OdourRadar are our own systems. If your enquiry is about a product rather than a project, mention which one so it reaches the right person.
